Creativity Classes at Mary Lee Daybreak

Twice a month, we bring the joy of creativity to Mary Lee Daybreak, a welcoming day program for young people and adults with developmental delays and brain injuries. In our creativity classes, everyone gets to play with colors, shapes, and textures to make art that’s as unique as they are. It’s not just about painting or drawing—it’s about expressing yourself and having a great time. Come, volunteer with us!

Creativity Classes at SAFE

Every month, we open up a world of imagination with our afterschool creativity class at SAFE, a special place that helps families find safety and happiness. Here, children can paint, draw, and craft their way to new adventures. It’s a time for making friends, learning cool things, and having lots of fun as we create art that tells our own stories.

Young Artist’s Club

Come to the Young Artist’s Club, where each month we dive into the life and art of an amazing artist. We kick things off with creativity centers where you can experiment with different ways to make art. After some fun games and tasty snacks, we’ll learn about an artist and their cool creations. Then it’s your turn in ‘Operation Creation’ to make your own artwork inspired by the artist of the month. It’s all about getting creative, trying new things, and having a blast with art!

Banned Book Speakeasy

Join our Banned Book Speakeasy, where we read a banned or challenged book and respond to it through our own creative expression. We’ll begin by journaling on quotations from the book, do some creative expression about the text, and wrap up with thoughtful discussion!

Annual Programs

Year-round, we collaborate with a diverse array of partners and special guests to honor and embrace creativity across all seasons. Discover our involvement in a selection of Annual Programs listed below, and see how we celebrate the creative spirit throughout the year!
